How To Clean Wax Pencil Off Bowling Ball

What type of utensil is utilize to write on the ball when laying it out? Is it a red china/grease pencil, or a special type of pencil? Could you employ a mainland china/grease pencil? The guy that does my stuff now uses a Sharpie to write on the ball and I wanted to get him something that doesn't stain the ball.

Yeeah it's a grease pencil or something like that... All i know is that y'all DON'T apply a sharpie! It might even just be a chalk-based pencil.

We actually have some white pencils that were used on overhead scoring way back in the 24-hour interval. I'chiliad non a fan at all of the commonly used yellowish ones, equally they stain the assurance every bit well. Information technology isn't permanent like a sharpie, but nevertheless lingers quite a while, especially on duller finishes.

What is the nation'southward stance of having the grip etched into the ball'due south surface, ala on the PBA truck?
I'm kinda torn- although the scars are ugly, you can see in no uncertain terms if the driller hitting the marks.

I lightly etch the fingers after drilling the thumb, I don't go deep with information technology, only it helps me when drilling. I don't do the full grip b/c I don't find information technology necessary, that manner y'all don't have scars too the shallow ones for the fingers.

I've seen alot of etching done by pro store guys. I use a white grease pencil by Turbo. Wipes make clean & does not leave the marking that the yellow pencils practice, like Justin mentioned.

we practice both...etching and pencil...nosotros accept a (1) yellowish one because of the jigsaw series..but they do tend to linger on the ball for a while...not alot of customers like the etching that is why nosotros exercise both.. they use etching on the trucks because it is a thiner line than the white and will be a tick more percise..but if you proceed your tools sharp your only fine
